I didn’t receive the email regarding the refund and deferral process; what can I do?

When will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be processed by August 8, 2019. However, our team are working hard and fast to process your refund before this date.

I have an entry through your Lead Charity, Prostate Cancer UK – how do I apply for a refund?

Please be aware that you would’ve paid the charity directly for your entry fee and therefore will need to contact them directly regarding their cancellation and refund policy, please contact Prostate Cancer UK on cycling@prostatecanceruk.org.

If you ordered any additional items when entering the event such as merchandise, car parking or accommodation, you will be automatically refunded for these by Vélo North.

I requested to withdraw in the days leading up to the announcement – am I now eligible for a refund?

Please be aware that if you did not receive communication from our Customer Service team confirming your withdrawal, then you will still be eligible for a refund. However, if your withdrawal has already been processed by our team, you can contact hello@velonorth.com to discover your options.

I missed the 14-day deadline to ask for a refund – what happens now?

Your entry fee will be automatically refunded to you and this will be processed by August 8, 2019.

What happens to my sponsorship/JustGiving money?

Please contact Prostate Cancer UK (or the charity you were fundraising for) for more information on this.

I have transferred my place to Vélo Birmingham & Midlands but I’d like to upgrade to Fast Track – how do I do this?

Please contact hello@velonorth.com who will be able to process this for you. Please note that you will be required to pay the difference in entry cost between a general and fast track entry.

I was registered for the 50 Mile route at Vélo North, can I transfer to the shorter route at Vélo Birmingham & Midlands?

Currently only 100 Mile entries are open for Vélo Birmingham & Midlands. As such, it is not possible to transfer your entry into the shorter route. 50 Mile Vélo North entrants are invited to transfer to a 100 Mile Vélo Birmingham & Midlands entry but will be required to pay the difference in price. A member of our Participant Services will be in touch on or before August 8 to take your payment if you chose this option.

I’d prefer to defer my place to Vélo North 2020 not Vélo Birmingham & Midlands 2020 – how do I do that?

At this stage we cannot guarantee that Vélo North will take place in 2020 and therefore can’t offer you this option.

I ordered merchandise - will I get a refund?

Yes, you will be refunded the cost of your merchandise order at the same time as your entry fee.

I booked an Official Event Radisson Blu Accommodation Package; will I get a refund?

Yes, all Radisson Blu bookings will be cancelled and refunded at the same time as your entry fee.

I booked Official Event Car Parking, will I get a refund?

Yes, all car parking purchases will be refunded at the same time as your entry fee.

Will you cover accommodation and/or travel costs?

We are unable to compensate you for any travel and/or accommodation expenses, as detailed in our Terms of Entry, however, we are more than happy to refund your entry fee (and any official additional items purchased through your Active.com account) and trust that you can reclaim any losses on your insurance.

I am an international entrant – do I get flight compensation?

I bought event insurance – can I get a refund?

If you purchased Event Day Insurance from Yellow Jersey then you will be entitled to a refund for your £9.99 insurance premium. If you would like this to be refunded, then please email support@yellowjersey.co.uk and quote your Merchant Order Number which can be found on the email receipt you will have received after you purchased your entry.
